So...
This is the official re-start of the blog of the Bonnie Lass. As a refresher, you may recall that back in June of 2008, this blog began as a way to document our voyages, as a substitute for something I knew I couldn't do well, which was to keep a paper bound volume entitled "Ships' Log". The Ships' Log is a long standing tradition which keeps an account of waypoints, maintenance and such, and Captain Bill may well be keeping up with it. I, however, have moved us into the bloggersphere where I hope to share more stories of our adventures and, of course, photos.
We begin this newest chapter in late April when preparations commenced for the next phase of our seafaring adventure. Loosely, the plan involves sailing south along the Pacific coast in mid May, stopping in Northern Mexico for some extended amount of time, and then continuing on southward as the mood moves us. I am hoping that the best thing about retirement is to not have a schedule. Here's hoping... ;0)
These pics were taken out of our main salon window at Clipper Yacht Harbor, Sausalito, CA. For you sailors out there, I recommend this marina HIGHLY! For my landlubber friends, Sausalito is a "must do" on anyone's vacation list.
