As planned (gosh, has it really been more than 7 years of planning?), we are in the final countdown to worldwide cruising. We have rented a temporary apartment so that the Lass can come out of the water to install a Westebeke generator, a Spectra 300 Watermaker, a Side Power bow thruster, and air conditioner/heater/dehumidifier system, and a host of radios, satellites and computers.
I am also working on an upgrade to the cabinetry for the nav station, with photos to follow as the work progresses.
Once the work is done…well…I guess we will be ready to go “whenever”. I hope “whenever” is soon as the reality of our dream has made the turn into the final stretch!
