A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Making Salsa

Two days ago, Bill had decided to roast jalepeno peppers and make his own salsa from the ingredients we had purhased the previous day, when we heard a knock on the hull.

Our Harbormaster ("Fito"), was stopping by to ask if we had made any plans for Saturday night, and when we replied that we had not, he said that the marina would like to present us with two free tickets to see a "pop" concert, that is being held tonight, (not more than 150 yards from the "back porch" of the Bonnie Lass).  We had actually planned to watch the concert from Lass, since it's so close, but...hey...how often does something like this happen?

Hope to get some flip cam video of the concert tonight.  The place is all abuzz with activity, security, entertainment news crews, etc.  I guess this guy is a big deal in Central and SA.  His name is Aleks Syntek, and he is likened to an Enrique Iglesias type of pop star.  He sang to/with Shakira at the Grammys last year.

Here is the link if you want to check him out;

Here are some salsa-making and ticket photos:

voila...salsa!  :0)
