July 4th Weekend - Day 1

Bill and I left the dock on Friday afternoon at the invitation of our friends Claire and Rob to join them, along with friends Carol and John for dinner and an anchor out in Paradise Cove.

We dropped anchor around 6:30 pm, and John graciously picked us up and dingy'd us over to "Eau Claire" before sunset, where we watched the Coast Guard get a jump start on the fireworks by sending up red, white and blue smoke plumes for our entertainment.

After a wonderful dinner, we were ferried back to the Bonnie Lass (at anchor off Carol's right side, in one of these photos), and I got a great parting shot of Rob on his way back "home" for the evening.
