Off They Go...!

After a hearty sailor-sized breakfast and coincidental with Fleet Week in the San Francisco Bay, the Bonnie Lass and her crew set off for San Diego on the first leg of travel for the 2010 Baja HaHa.

Here are some pics of Bill, Scott and Matt in final cast off preparations (removing the electric cable from the dock, throwing off the dock lines and pulling up fenders). The last pic is a sneak peak as she exits the marina for the channel that will lead to the Bay, and out under the Golden Gate Bridge, whereupon they will "hang a left" on their southbound journey.

The plan calls for three overnights, with a possible stop at Catalina Island, which could add a day.
